Depending on the product quality, awnings are divided into wind resistance classes to EN 13561 Section 4.1. The higher the class the higher the 

product quality.

The jointed arm awnings may only be used up to the wind resistance class declared by the manufacturer. The wind class may

only be downgraded due to poor assembly conditions in exceptional cases and with the end user‘s consent.
