are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Carefully maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges jam less often and are easier to control.
g. Use power tools, insertion tools, etc. according to these instructions. Give due
consideration to work conditions and the task to be executed. Using power tools
for applications other than their intended use can lead to dangerous situations.
h. Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil or grease. Slippery handles and grip
surfaces do not allow safe operation and control of the power tool in unforeseen
situations.
5. Service

tool.
Special safety instructions
Attention
• Use a dust protection mask!
• Handling asbestos-containing material is prohibited.
• Coatings containing lead as well as some kinds of wood and metal may not be treated!
• Using this tool to sand specific products, varnishes and wood can expose the user to
dust that contains hazardous substances. Use suitable respiratory protection.
• Some materials may contain toxic chemicals. Take precautionary measures to avoid
inhaling dust that was created while working and to prevent skin contact. Adhere to
the safety specifications of the material manufacturer.
• If the machine is blocked, turn it off immediately.
• Hold the power tool by the insulated handle sections since the abrasive section can
come into contact with the connection line. Damage to a live power line may result in
an electric shock due to electricity being conducted via metallic tool parts.
