Adjust your speed in accordance with your penny boarding abilities.

Do  not  carry  out  any  changes  to  the  penny  board  which  would  affect  its  safety.  The  self-

locking  effects  of  self-securing  nuts  and  the  paintwork  can  be  reduced  after  repeated
loosening and tightening of the fastening elements.

Regular checks, maintenance and servicing will increase the safety and lifespan of your penny

board.

Look for splits and cracks on the board! Remove them, if required. This is for your safety.

Warning!  Protective  equipment  should  be  worn  (approved  helmet,  protectors,  sports  shoes).

Not to be used in traffic.

The use of the product requires specific skills and knowledge to be able to avoid injuries due

to crashes and collisions.

Please use the product only in appropriate play areas. In order not to endanger your child and

others, do not permit its use for rides on the roads and in passage-ways, as well as on slopes
and hills. Avoid the vicinity of steps and open waters.

Don’t use it at dusk, at night or in poor visibility conditions.

yourself and others.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

NOTHING’S EASY AT FIRST…

…  most  accidents  happen  to  “beginners”  within  the  first  ten  minutes.  To  the  most  serious  injuries
belong  the  fractures.  Particular  care  should  be  taken  during  this  stage.  Learn  the  technique  of  safe
falling before using.

PENNY BOARDING TECHNIQUES

1.  STARTING POSITION

As an inexperienced penny boarder, you should initially place a forward-facing foot level with the front
wheels. Put a little weight on the foot and gently bend your knee. The second foot is then placed at a
right  angle  on  the  board,  over  the  rear  axle.  Take  care  that  it  is  always  the  front  foot  you  put  your
weight on, i.e. the weight is always shifted forwards. Take care to alight towards the front as a basic
principle.  After  a  few  attempts  you  will  notice  that  you  get  an  improved  feel  for  the  penny  board.  By
tightening and loosening the kingpin nut on the bottom of the penny board and the related change of
pressure on the steering buffer, you can influence the movement radius of the penny board.

2.  FIRST ATTEMPT AT RIDING ON THE PENNY BOARD

Try  to  tilt  the  board  right  and  left  along  the  longitudinal  axis  by  shifting  your  weight.  This  shifting  of
weight  comes  from  the  knee  and  ankle  joints,  while  the  upper  body  stays  upright.  Use  your  arms  to
keep  your  balance.  To  get  going  with  the  penny  board,  firstly  place  one  foot  on  the  board,  as
described  in  the  starting  positions  section.  Push  off  repeatedly  with  the  other  foot.  As  soon  as  your
penny  board  gathers  sufficient  momentum,  put  your  second  foot  on  the  rear  part  of  the  board.  Take
care to never place a foot at the end of the board. Beginners should initially stay off sloping ground.
