center for such work.
7. Always use our genuine spare parts and accessories only. Using
parts or accessories supplied by a third party may result in the tool
breakdown, property damage and/or serious injury.
8. Request our authorized service center to inspect and maintain
the tool at regular interval.
Storage
1. Before storing the tool, perform full cleaning and maintenance.
Remove the battery cartridge. Attach the cover to the cutting blade.
2. Store the tool in a dry and high or locked location out of reach of
children.
3. Do not prop the tool against something, such as a wall.
Otherwise it may fall suddenly and cause an injury.
First aid
1. Always have a first-aid kit close by. Immediately
replace any item taken from the first aid kit.
2. When asking for help, give the following information:
– Place of the accident
– What happened
– Number of injured persons
– Nature of the injury
– Your name

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
FOR BATTERY CARTRIDGE
1. Before using battery cartridge, read all instructions and
cautionary markings on (1) battery charger, (2) battery, and (3)
product using battery.
2. Do not disassemble battery cartridge.
3. If operating time has become excessively shorter, stop
operating immediately. It may result in a risk of
overheating, possible burns and even an explosion.
4. If electrolyte gets into your eyes, rinse them out with
clear water and seek medical attention right away. It may
result in loss of your eyesight.
5. Do not short the battery cartridge:
(1) Do not touch the terminals with any conductive
material.
(2) Avoid storing battery cartridge in a container with
other metal objects such as nails, coins, etc.
(3) Do not expose battery cartridge to water or rain. A
battery short can cause a large current flow, overheating,
possible burns and even a breakdown.
6. Do not store the tool and battery cartridge in locations
where the temperature may reach or exceed 50
°C
(122
°F).
7. Do not incinerate the battery cartridge even if it is
severely damaged or is completely worn out. The battery
cartridge can explode in a fire.
8. Be careful not to drop or strike battery.
9. Do not use a damaged battery.
10. Follow your local regulations relating to disposal of
battery.

Tips for maintaining maximum battery life
1. Charge the battery cartridge before completely
discharged. Always stop tool operation and charge the
battery cartridge when you notice less tool power.
2. Never recharge a fully charged battery cartridge.
Overcharging shortens the battery service life.
3. Charge the battery cartridge with room temperature at
10
°C - 40°C (50°F - 104°F). Let a hot battery cartridge
cool down before charging it.
4. Charge the battery cartridge once in every six months
if you do not use it for a long period of time.
MOUNTING AND OPERATION
WARNING:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the battery
cartridge is removed before adjusting or checking function on the
tool. Failure to switch off
and remove the battery cartridge may
result in serious personal injury from accidental start-up.
Mounting the blade & spool protector (see fig. 2)
WARNING:
•
Never use the tool without the guard illustrated in place.
Failure to do so can cause serious personal injury.
1. Put the front shaft(19) on the blade protetor(21) and align two
holes each other.
2. Put the spool protector(20) on the top of front, and also align
the holes with them. Then put 2 bolts into the holes.
3. Turn over all of above sets and then put the two M10 nuts onto
the bolts and pre-fasten by hand.
4. Turn back again and then using the 5mm hex wrench to fasten
and lock it.
Mounting the shaft bar (see fig 3)
1. Remove the rubber cover on the front shaft end.
2. Pull out the lock pin(17) then trun and release it, let it stay out.
3. Algin front shaft end and rear shaft end, then insert it. After
that, turn lock pin(17) backward and release.
At this moment, if the lock pin did not locked into the hole on
the front shaft end, you can slight trun or move the front shaft
till the lock pin slip into.
4. Turn the fasten knob (18) to fasten and lock the two
shaft par together.
Mounting the operation handles (see fig. 4)
1. Insert the right operation handle bar(13) into the
locking block on the shaft bar. If necessary, loosen
the bolts on the block firstly.
2. Retighten the bolts on the locking block.
3. Insert the left operation handle bar(14) into the
locking block on the shaft bar. If necessary, loosen
the bolts on the block firstly.
4. Retighten the bolts on the locking block.
Mounting the blade (see fig. 5)
WARNING: Risk of injury (cuts from sharp edges)!
On the protective shield there is a sharp knife for
cutting off the cord. Protective gloves must be worn
for all work on the blade.
1. Remove the cutting fasten element from the cutting
head. (note: Do not remove inner flange!)
2. Put the blade onto the inner flange.
3. Put the outer flange back onto the blade.
4. Put back the bowl flange and then left thread nut.
5. Inserting a screwdriver or hex wrench into shaft hole
to lock the shaft.
6. Holding the shaft locking action, meanwhile using the
T shape socket wrench to turn anti-clockwise to
