The control unit’s operating mode
When a heat pump is installed, it is already factory set to operate when
both units are connected. However, the settings can be adjusted to suit the
housholders requirements.
Heat pump with Greensource hot water distribu-
tion unit
When the heat pump is used with the Greensource hot water distribution
unit, the control unit sets itself for this operation. This means that the heat
pump operates with additional heat from the hot water distribution unit and
that the hot water is produced in the hot water distribution unit´s hot water
heater. A sensor located on the outside of the house sends information
about the outdoor temperature to the control unit. The control unit controls
heating and hot water production based on the read off current values and
the set values.
