Crosscut Fence Setup - Horizontal - Example 1:

 

The horizontal fence configuration can be used for crosscuts, but is not recommend, etc. To set the angles with the Index 

Pins, place them in the desired locations

 in front of the horizontal fence

, index the fence against them and tighten the handles.
