If you experience a dished cutting pattern, rotate the 

router/base slightly front-to-back by loosening and slightly 
raising or lowering the front or back spacers/glides.

If you experience a stepped cutting pattern, rotate the 

router/base slightly left-to-right by loosening and slightly 
raising or lowering the left or right side spacers/glides.
