Mountain Home Oven Installation and Operation Manual

INTERLOCK OF APPLIANCE CONTROL TO AN EXHAUST FAN

This connection is intended to interrupt power to the appliance until the fan is turned on.

S1 is a double pole- single throw switch (provided by others) that interrupts in-coming power to both the fan and 

the appliance. The intent is to prevent the operation of the appliance's gas burner in the event the fan is shut off.

Any interruption of the power to the appliance will cause the appliance (including all burners and pilots) to shut 

off, and it will be necessary to restart the appliance by pressing the start switch once power is restored.
