Transport and storage
5.3 Storage
When dissembling the handbike for either storage or transport do the following procedure.
Disassembling front- wheel and fork (Note this may change depending on model)(Image 6):
• Disconnect cables for engine and rear disc brakes
• Unscrew the front wheel and remove it.
• Unscrew the compensator.
• Unscrew the stem.
• Remove the topcap and the steering tube.
•
Now take off the front fork (make sure frame and fork are completely disconnected before disassembling
the handbike).
Reassembling the front- wheel and fork (Image 7):
•
Put in the steering tube and tighten the topcap.
•
Carefully tighten the top clamp, so it is not too tight.
•
Screw top bolt, so that the fork is fitted perfectly on the frame.
• Put front wheel back on.
• Tighten all bolts and nuts.
Disassembling the rear wheel:
•
Screw off the locking bolt.
• If the model has rear disc brakes, dismount the disc brake caliber before removing the wheel.
• Remove the rear wheel
The operation temperature is between 0
°C & 45°C and storage temperature -20°C & 45°C, to avoid damage.
