You can fight the fire with your back

Installations and repairs must be
performed by a qualified or
licensed contractor, plumber or gas
fitter, qualified or licensed by the
state, province or region where this
appliance is being installed.
Use only gas shut-off valves
approved for use within the state,
province or region where this
appliance is being installed.
A flexible gas connector, when
used, must not exceed 3' (.9 m).
Burning gas cooking fuel gener-
ates some by-products that are
on the list of substances known
to cause cancer or reproductive
harm. To minimize exposure to
these substances, always operate
this unit according to the instruc-
tions contained in this book and
provide good ventilation.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY
TO PERSONS IN THE EVENT OF
A RANGETOP GREASE FIRE,
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
Smother flames with a close-
fitting lid, baking sheet or other
metal tray; then turn off the gas
burner. Be careful to prevent
burns. If the flames do not go out
immediately, evacuate and call
the fire department.
Do not use water on grease fires.
Never pick up a flaming pan—
you may be burned.
