Lid with filter: The lid is used to keep dust and other contaminants out of the water.
The filter is used to filter limescale that may form in the water after boiling.

Removable seal: Holds the lid in place.

Vessel: Holds the water to be heated.

Base: Provides a stable platform and electrical connection to the body.

Control panel: Controls the functions of the kettle. See explanation of icons
and buttons below.

Mode selector bezel: Choice of (manual), 80°C (175°F), 82°C (180°F),
85°C (185°F) or 96°C (205°F).

Knob: Controls manual temperature or keep warm time.

Cable storage: The bottom of the base allows for the cable to be stored.
