2/12. Discharge end of the blower should be pointed away
from prevailing winds.

Drill a

up through the roof, 8½" from the

From outside - on the roof:

Measure and mark the 20¾" x 20½" rectangle.
Cut and
remove only the shingles inside this rectangle.

Measure and mark the
11" DiaMETEr HOLE
and the
1¼"
DiaMETEr HOLE
. Cut these holes all the way through the
roof.

install the Ventilator

Remove
7 COVEr SCrEwS
and lift off ventilator cover.

Remove and discard
SHiPPing CarDBOarD
from
blower wheel.

Remove roofing nails from top 2/3 of shingles around
cut-out area.

Feed the electric power cable (supplied with ventilator)
through the
1¼" DiaMETEr HOLE
in roof.

Slide ventilator's
FLaSHing SHEET
up and under
loosened shingles until ventilator's discharge collar fits into
11" diameter hole.

Use 6 screws (provided) to attach ventilator to roof.

are provided.

Seal screw heads, loosened shingles, and edges of
flashing sheet with a good grade of roofing cement.

Check for free movement of spring-loaded damper and
re-install ventilator cover.

The ventilator is prewired with 12 feet of H05VV-F
3G1 power cable. Run ventilator cable to range hood's
electrical wiring box.

Secure cable to range hood with a strain relief (included
in parts bag). Make wiring connections per instructions
provided with your Wolf range hood.

Install the separate power cord and strain relief (included
in parts bag) to the range hood. Refer to instructions
provided with your Wolf range hood.

Turn on power and check for proper operation of
ventilator.
