Remove the vessel from the base and the lid from
the vessel. Fill with the desired amount of water.
WARNING
Burn Hazard:
Do not fill above the MAX level (50 oz [1.5 liter]). If above
this level, water can boil out of the vessel, creating a burn
hazard.
NOTE:
If your kettle is accidentally switched on without
being filled with water, or is allowed to boil dry, the kettle
will automatically switch off. You should:
•
Unplug the kettle and wait about 20 minutes for the
element to cool down.
•
Refill the vessel; then use as normal.

Place the lid on the vessel. Place the vessel on the base.

Turn the knob clockwise to increase the temperature, or
counterclockwise to decrease the temperature. The maximum
temperature is 212°F (100°C). The minimum temperature is
95°F (35°C).
5.
Press the START/STOP button to begin the heating cycle.
The kettle will chime once for confirmation.
6.
As the water heats, the display will alternate between the
actual temperature and the set temperature.
7.
Once the actual temperature reaches the set temperature,
the kettle will chime three times and display OFF.
