3. Instructions for use
Unauthorized modification can make the machine dangerous and lead to sever injury during use. Wolf Creek
disclaims any liability in case of misuse or failure to comply with the instructions and/or regulations in force.
IMPORTANT
Before carrying out any work on the pole saw, disconnect the power plug.
3.1 Cleaning, Storage, Transportation and Maintenance
Regular cleaning after use will ensure the pole saw functions well and reduces the risk of corrosion or stress
corrosion.
3.1.1 Cleaning the pole saw
WARNING
Never submerse the pole saw in water or any other liquid for cleaning.
Never clean the pole saw with a high pressure washer.
After stopping the pole saw and allowing it to cool, remove the cutting debris accumulated under the cover by
blowing with compressed air or cleaning with a brush. If necessary, wipe with a soft damp cloth.
3.1.2 Storage and transport of the pole saw
Store your pole saw in a cool and dry area. Store in a place out of reach of children.
For long term storage, drain the chain oil tank and lubricate the chain and guide bar before storing away.
Never carry the pole saw until it is unplugged and completely stopped. Hold the unit by the front handle, the
guide bar turned back and the protective sheath inserted.

3.1.3 Maintenance of the pole saw
This pole saw is equipped with an automatic chain lubrication feature. Regularly check the chain oil level.

For best results, sharpen the chain regularly at a specialist workshop.

Low chain oil level or contact with a dull chain can reduce cutting performance quickly.
