Safety checklist

•
Squeeze the brake levers using all your arm power - the handles should
not touch the handlebar.
•
Squeeze the brake levers and pull the bike forward - the brake pads must
clamp tightly around the discs/rims.
•
Brake front tire and turn the handlebar - the handlebars must not be able
to rotate.
•
The saddle must not be able to rotate or rotate up or down.
•
Check that the tyre is not blocked, the release lever/arm should not
protrude.
•
Turn the tyres - they should be in line and move smoothly without
touching other parts of the bike.
•
Let the bike fall freely from 20 cm height - if accessories such as rear bike
rack, displays or lights are moving or falling off, they may be mounted
incorrectly.
•
Check the lights and the bell.
•
Check tyre condition and pressure and look for loose spokes.
•
Check the frame, handlebar and grip for scratches and dents.
•
The brakes and cables should not show signs of wear or damage.
•
Check for broken links in the bike chain.
•
Test the brakes and gearshift with a test drive.
•
Check the electric motor and the charging level.
