Removing the CPU

3.
Remove the four screws to remove the CPU thermal module.
NOTE: Follow the steps indicated above to secure the screws on CPU thermal module when reinstalling.
4.
Release the CPU socket by turning the screw counterclockwise; then remove the CPU.
CAUTION: When attaching the CPU back, locate PIN1 at the corner of the socket as shown.
