5.1 Battery charging
When the battery icon on the control screen appears empty and flashes, it means
that the voltage is low and the scooter does not have enough power to run normally.
Stop riding, as this may cause instability and shorten the life of the battery.
To charge your battery, please follow these steps:
•
Check that the charging connector below the power button is dry.
•
Connect the supplied mains charger to the scooter via this connector
•
Connect the mains charger to a mains socket.
•
If the LED on the charger lights up red, it means that the battery is being
charged correctly. If the light is green, check that the cable is correctly
connected to the scooter.
•
The scooter takes about 4 hours to fully charge.
•
When the charger indicator turns from red to green, it is fully charged.
•
Unplug the power cable and then the scooter.
IMPORTANT
:
•
Charging for too long may reduce the life of the battery. Do not leave your
scooter connected to the charger overnight.
•
Be sure to fill your scooter's battery completely each time you charge it to
maximise its life.
•
Keep the charging environment clean and dry.
•
Do not charge the battery if the charging plug is wet.
