LED indication

The green LED will be on when the charger is connected to an AC source.
⇒
The yellow LED will blink at a fast rate during bulk charge and at a slower rate during
absorption charge. The yellow LED will be on continuously after completion of the
charge cycle.
Please contact our service centre for servicing and in the event of failure of the charger.
Because of the use of sealed lead-gel-batteries, the charging instructions
have to be complied exactly!
In order to prevent a destruction of the battery caused by deep discharging,
a permanent connection to the charger which has to be switched on and
ready for operation should be created outside the operating hours of the
OKTOPUS
®
. In case this is not possible, the batteries have to be recharged
every two weeks.
The charger has to be protected against splash and installed in such a po-
sition that the ventilator and the ventilation slots are not covered and can-
not be penetrated by pointed objects.
In case extension cables are used outdoors, protective sills have to be
used.
