Chapter 6 

Audio Driver Installation 

6.1  Introduction 

The V270Motherboard is equipped with the

 

VIA Vinyl VT1708 chipset. The VIA 

VT1708 series deliver top quality audio performance, supporting the latest 8-channel, 

24-bit, 192KHz audio content for an all-round high fidelity experience. 

 

6.2  Installation of Audio Driver 

The users must make sure which operating system you are using in the V270 Motherboard 

before installing the Audio drivers. Follow the steps below to complete the installation of the 

VIA Vinyl VT1708 

Audio drivers. You will quickly complete the installation. 

 

Step.1

Insert the CD that comes with the motherboard. Open the file document 

“Audio_VT708A_Driver” to execute the setup.
