Measure cylinder
Measure cylinder
Tip
Always include the fitting when measuring the
cylinder dimension.
1.
Place try square on the inside fitting.
2.
Measure the distance between the try square edge and the centre of
the face plate screw drill hole. Note down the measured value (B).
3.
Place try square on the outer fitting.
4.
Measure the distance between the try square edge and the centre of
the face plate screw drill hole. Note down the measured value (A).

The cylinder's internal (B) and external dimension (A) have now been
measured.
Note
Increased risk of burglary due to incorrect
cylinder length!
5.
Select new cylinder, so that the cylinder projects max. 3 mm from
the fitting.
4.4 Install old cylinder
Tip
If the cylinder type and the dimensions have been
determined, the old cylinder can be re-fitted until
you have the new cylinder.

You do not have new cylinder yet.
Place cam in zero position
Insert cylinder
1.
Insert key (3) into the keyway (2).
2.
Turn the key to place cam in the zero position (1).
Note
Material damage caused by using force to
insert cylinder.
3.
Push in cylinder (2) from the inner side of the door. If the cylinder
(2) is stuck, carefully jiggle with the key (3) and push cylinder (2) in.
