Disassembly and disposal
Environment
Environmental damage due to incorrect disposal of
batteries and electronic components!
Incorrect disposal can pose a risk to the
environment.
•
Do not batteries with normal domestic waste!
Faulty or used batteries must be disposed of
in accordance with the European directive
2006/66/EG.
•
Disposal of electric devices as domestic waste
is prohibited. It must be done in an orderly
manner. The product must therefore be
disposed of in accordance with the European
directive 2012/19/EU at a municipal collection
centre for electronic waste or via a specialist
company.
•
Alternatively customers may return the device
to Aug. Winkhaus GmbH & Co. KG, Entsorgung/
Verschrottung, Hessenweg 9, 48157 Münster.
•
It must be returned without the battery.
•
Keep new and used batteries out of reach of
children!
Prerequisites:
•
Cylinders have been dismounted and batteries have been removed.

All components have been removed from the locking system.
1.
Take batteries to a local recycling collection point or have a waste
management firm dispose of them.
2.
Dispose of cylinders and active keys correctly with electronic waste.
3.
Dispose of components without batteries or electronic waste in
household waste.
