Servicing the 

Motor 

To access the 

motor first remove the solution tank.  There are (2) screws which attach the 

motor mounting bracket 

to 

the chassis. Loosen the clamp to remove the hose.  To  replace 

the motor assembly 

it 

will be necessary to remove the 

(3) 

screws which attach the motor to the 

motor mounting bracket.

need to be replaced or sent to a qualified 
service center to restore 

performance.

When replacing carbon 

motor brushes 

loosen wire terminal 

BEFORE 

removing 

screws on bracket. 

Wire 

Important: 

These  brushes  wear 
quicker  as  the  length 

shortens  due 

to  in- 

creased heat. 

Spring  inside  brush 

housing will damage 
motor 

if 

brushes are 

allowed 

to 

wear away 

completely.

Replace both carbon brushes when 
either is less than
