1. Plug the DC power jack (12) of the AC/DC power adapter to the DC power

socket (8) on the back of the unit, then connect the AC plug (15) of the power
adapter to an available outlet.

2. Press the “ON/OFF” button (Fig. 1) up to the “ON” position and the Compact

Dehumidifier will begin to operate.  The green indicator light will be illuminat-
ed.  Listen and feel for the air blowing from the dry air outlet (6).

3. To switch off the unit, press the “ON/OFF” button (Fig. 2) down to

the “OFF” position.

NOTE: Ionizer, UV lights and Ti02 filters activate once the unit is turned
on.  When facing the unit, the UV and Ti02 are on the right  while the ioniz-
er is on the left.  It is normal for the user to notice some violet light from
the right air outlet. You may notice a mild scent coming from the left air
outlet which indicates that negative ions are being produced.

4. When the water reservoir (5) is full, the float switch (11) will shut the unit off

automatically and the red indicator light (3) will be illuminated.  Press the

“ON/OFF” button (1) to the “OFF” position.  Pull the water reservoir out of the

unit and drain the water through the water drainage hole (10).  Then place
the reservoir back into the unit.  Another option is to pull out the rubber
stopper from the continuous drain port (9) and drain the water from there.
To continue dehumidifying, press the “ON/OFF” button to the “ON” position.

NOTE: The continuous drain port gives you
the option to connect the drain hose (17) to
the continuous drain port and continuously
drain the unit without having to pull out the
water resevoir.  Place the other end of the
hose near a proper water drain.

NOTE: The Peltier System works by making one side of the Peltier
element ice cold, venting the subsequent heat out of the top of the unit.
The fan inside of the dehumidifier draws the moisture in the humid air
across the cold side of the Peltier element, causing the humid air to con-
dense and drip down into the water reservoir.
