NOTE: The WinBook XL2 uses proprietary accessories (such as a port
replicator) and you should only use those items that have been approved
for your computer. Contact WinBook for information about obtaining
approved accessories and upgrades. If you use items that are not approved
for use with this computer, you might cause the computer to malfunction or
to emit electromagnetic radiation in excess of local regulations. This does
not apply to non-proprietary accessories such as PC cards, USB devices,
printers, etc.

familiarize yourself with the various ports, bays, connectors, and indicators
that make up your system.

safe place. It contains your
Certificate of Authenticity number
for Windows 98, which you
might need in case of a reinstalla-
tion of Windows 98. If you lose
this number, you cannot be issued
another number without paying
for a new copy of Windows 98.
