Hard Disk
Similarly, you may define the period of inactivity after which the hard disk drive will shut down.
The (Power Management) Defaults Menu
You may use the Defaults menu to reset all power management settings to the default settings. If you use
this option, you should check all settings to ensure they are correct for your system.
Exit (Power Management)
Use this item to exit from the Power Management screen and return to the main BIOS setup screen. You
have the choice of saving any settings you have made, or canceling them.
When you exit from the Power Management program you will be returned to the main setup screen. Or,
if you entered the power management program using the < Ctrl> < Alt> P hot key from DOS, you will be
returned to DOS.
Note:
The < Ctrl> < Alt> P hot key is not available from Windows.
DEFAULTS MENU
Use this menu to recall all default BIOS settings. You should then check all settings to ensure they are
correct for your system.
EXIT MENU
When you have completed making all your desired settings, select this item. You will be prompted as to
whether you wish to save the settings you have just made, or to abandon these changes. Assuming you
are satisfied with the settings you have made, press < Enter> [SX/DX 8-15] and the settings will be saved
into the CMOS memory in your 486SX/DX-WinBook. These settings will be used each time you turn on
your computer and you will not need to use the setup program again unless you make some changes in
