4.1 Spare part pump
Notes for
replacement
This pump is designed to replace old technology pumps
based on asynchronous motors (AC pumps).
The new pump has been specially adapted to the previ
-
ous requirements and extended with known features of
the current high-efficiency Wilo pumps (EC pumps).
The following requirements ensure a safe operation of
this pump.
Failure to follow them will result in the loss of any claims
for damages.
Misuse
Any use beyond the intended use is considered misuse
and will void any warranty claims.
CAUTION!
• Due to the use of different components (e.g. suction
rings in the pump casing) between AC and EC pumps,
there is a risk of material damage to the pump or loss
of hydraulic performances if only the motor head is
replaced.
• Always replace the complete pump!

Danger of injury or material damage from improper
use!
• Never use non-specified fluids.
• Never allow unauthorised persons to carry out work.
• Never operate the pump beyond the specified
limits of use.
• Never carry out unauthorised conversions.
• Use authorised accessories only.
• Never supply with phase angle control.
