Battery Indicator 

The Battery indicator is shown in the upper right corner of the display on any test screen (see Figure 5). The 

battery indicator provides a visual indication of the remaining battery capacity so that the user can replace the 

batteries before they are exhausted. The batteries should provide several hours of operation. Additionally, If the 

tester is left on it will automatically power off after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve power.

When the batteries are exhausted the low battery screen will be displayed as shown in Figure 6 and the solar 

tester will automatically power off. At this time the batteries must be replaced to use the tester again.
