CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Interior:

Wipe spills and splatters from the interior after each use. Clean with mild soap and water.

Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any type of abrasive cleaner. For heavier soil, use baking
soda or a mild soap; rinse thoroughly with hot water. NEVER USE OVEN CLEANERS INTENDED FOR
CONVENTIONAL OVENS.

Splatter Shield:

The splatter shield is a light brown mica panel located on the right side of

the microwave oven interior. Carefully clean with mild soap and water; rinse and dry with
a soft cloth. Do not use any type of abrasive cleaner. Do not remove the splatter shield.

Glass Turntable and Turntable Ring:

Remove the glass turntable and turntable ring from the

microwave oven for cleaning. Wash in warm water using a mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use
a mild cleanser and scouring sponge. Only the glass turntable may be washed in the dishwasher.
Wash the turntable ring by hand.

Odor Removal:

Combine 1 cup water with the grated peel and juice of 1 lemon and several whole cloves

in a microwave-safe 2-cup glass measuring cup. Boil for several minutes at POWER level P100 (100%).
Leave the liquid in the microwave oven until it cools. Wipe the interior with a soft, dry cloth.

Exterior:

If necessary, clean exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth or sponge and mild soap

and water. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any type of abrasive cleaner.

Door:

To ensure safe and efficient operation, be sure to keep the inner door, door seal, hinges and

latches clean and free of food residue. Wipe the door on both sides with a damp cloth to remove any
spills or splatters. Do not use any type of abrasive cleaner. Gently wipe around the inside of the door
frame, seals, latches and hinges to remove any food particles and condensation.

After Cleaning:

Be sure to place the turntable ring and glass turntable in the proper position.

If necessary, press

STOP/CANCEL

 to clear the display screen.

If the microwave oven was unplugged, plug in and reset the clock’s present time following
the detailed instructions in the “SET THE CLOCK” section of this instruction manual.

STORING INSTRUCTIONS

Unplug microwave oven.
Store in a clean, dry place.
Do not wrap the cord or put any stress on cord where it enters unit, as this could cause cord
to fray and break.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your microwave oven is not working:

Check to ensure the microwave is plugged in securely. If not, remove the plug from the outlet,
wait 10 seconds, and plug it in again securely.
Check for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker. If it seems to be operating properly,
test the outlet with another appliance.
Check to ensure the microwave oven has been programmed correctly and the TIMER is set.
Check to ensure the door is closed securely and the door lock system is engaged.
If the door is not closed properly, the microwave energy will not flow inside.
