2. Design
The following figure shows the components of a high-temperature diaphragm seal system
with model 990.45 diaphragm seal.
2.1 Description
The upper part of the model 990.45 consists of the upper body of the diaphragm seal
including the diaphragm, which is fitted with a heat sink and connected to the measuring
instrument via a capillary. The lower body of the diaphragm seal consists of two flanges,
one for connection to the upper body of the diaphragm seal and one for the process. The
lower body of the diaphragm seal contains threaded holes for fastening eye bolts for hoists
and can be fitted with one or two flushing connections, if required.
