TrayDock™
USER’S MANUAL
Revised October 5, 2006
“A perfect solution for backups.” – PC magazine
“Fabulous product… If you are looking for a method to mount external SATA drives on your Macintosh, the TrayDock
is the solution.” – AMUG (Arizona Mac Users Group)
Features
•
Hot-swappable storage for access to multiple drives.
Spare trays can be purchased to take advantage of the
reloadable design of TrayDock and make offsite backups
even easier. Run out of space? It's OK. Grab a new tray
and use the same enclosure again and again.
•
Easy backups –
If you're looking for an easy and
powerful way to back up and archive data, TrayDock is the
answer. Just insert a tray with a drive, back up your data,
and then remove the tray and store it anywhere you like.
•
Wide compatibility –
Trays for both SATA drives and
IDE drives can be used in the same TrayDock housing. In
addition to its fast FireWire 800 ports, the TrayDock can also connect through widely-available USB.
•
Plug and Play
– The TrayDock works with any modern operating system, including Mac OS 9.2, OS X,
Windows 2K, XP, and any distribution of Linux that supports FireWire or USB. No drivers are required.
•
Quite and Sleek –
The sleek aluminum case provides drive security in a single attractive desktop
solution with access to different drive volumes. And it's fanless, too, for quiet operation.
