Thermometer Calibration Instructions
1. Fill the tub so that the bottom of the thermometer tip is
immersed in at least 10.2 cm (4 inches) of water.
2. Place the stem tip of a calibrated thermometer next to the tip of
the Whirlpool thermometer.
3. Turn on the turbine assembly.
4. If the reading on the Whirlpool thermometer is not the same as
that of the calibrated thermometer, turn the external adjustment
screw (a) so that the Whirlpool thermometer reading is identical
to the calibrated thermometer.
5. Re-calibration shall be performed at least every 12 months or
as needed.
