• Before filling the tank, make sure the appliance is unplugged from the mains.
• Remove the boiler cap (9) and fill the tank with water.
• Replace the cap securely by pressing down and rotating it clockwise until it stops.
Plug in.
IMPORTANT : never unscrew the cap (6) when the boiler is under pressure.

• When you plug the appliance, the iron heats so always unplug when you don’t use steam
iron.
Select the required temperature by rotating the thermostat knob (6) according to the type of
fabric to be ironed (see Tab. A beneath). Wait for the steam ready light to come on (13)
before you start to iron.
• To generate steam, simply press the steam button (4).
• You can vary the quantity of steam by using the steam regulator knob (16).
• Set the desired temperature : set the thermostat button of the iron (4) according to the kind
of fabric to be ironed (see table)
• Plug the appliance in.
• Pilot lamp of the iron (1) will first flash in red and then will turn green when desired
temperature has been reached. If the light turns to red during ironing, the iron will heat up
quickly and turn green again.
• To steam iron, press ON/OFF steam button (8) : the boiler (10) will heat up and pilot light (9)
will flash red. It will turn green when steam is ready.

Important : • when switching on the iron, keep knob in the maximum steam output position.
• Push 2 or 3 times the steam delivery button before ironing. This will ensure a regular steam
production when you start ironing.
WARNING : the iron steam generator connecting hose may become hot. Be careful not to be
burned.
