• Remove all stickers and packages from the appliance.
• Clean all parts of the appliance and dry thoroughly, see section Cleaning.
• Place the deep fat fryer on a plane and stable surface, far from inflammable objects.
• Fold out the handle and attach it carefully to the basket.
• Fill the dry and empty deep fat fryer with oil or fat to the upper mark in the tank. Do not exceed
max mark.
• Never mix different types of fat or oil.
• Make sure that Thermostat is on the O position before plugging the appliance.
• Plug the appliance in the mains plug, the two light indicators light on.

• Set the timer.
• Set the thermostat to the required temperature setting, green operating light indicator
switches off.
• The operating light indicator will remain off until the set temperature has been reached, and
then it will cycle on and off throughout cooking. This will ensure that the deep fryer maintains
the correct temperature.
FILL THE BASKET WITH FOOD
Caution : Do not overload the basket.
• Place the basket carefully into the tank and cover the lid to avoid any risk of oil splashes.
• During the frying process, occasionally remove the basket from the oil/fat and shake the
contents.
FRYING WITH SOLID FAT
• We recommend to dissolve solid fat in a normal frying pan at slowly temperature, then pour it
into the deep fryer.
• After use, store the deep fat fryer with resolidified fat at room temperature to avoid any risk of
spatting when reheated.
• Useful tips : poke the solid fat with a fork several times before using again to avoid any risk of
spatting or burning.

• Turn off the thermostat anticlockwise.
• Open the lid and place the basket at the top to allow the oil to drip off.
• Shake off the excess oil or fat over the deep fryer.
• Place the fried product in a bowl or sieve with absorbent kitchen paper.
• If the deep is not used regularly, it is recommended to store the oil/fat in a dry place at room
temperature.
