Special recommendations :

• Before using the appliance for the first time water should be boi-

led in it twice or three times in order to clean the appliance.

• Only fill the appliance with clear cold water.
• Always fill the lower tank with water, then assemble the lower

and upper parts firmly. Set the appliance onto the base, plug
cord and finally press on knob. To disconnect, remove the coffee
maker from the power base, then unplug.

Caution

• the stainless steel body may be hot. Do not touch the hot surface

until it is cool. 

• Use the insulated handle to hold the appliance and take care of

hot liquids to avoid burns.

• Never switch on the appliance without water in it.
• Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling. Never lift the

appliance by its lid. Always use the insulated handle.

• The lid must always be tightly closed.
• The appliance must not be unscrewed open when it is still hot.

Let it cool down completely before unscrewing.

• Clean the appliance regularly in order not to be blocked.
• Do not let the appliance plugged if the room temperature is lower

than 6°C.

• Always unplug after use.
• When making espresso only ever put water in the heating vessel.

carbonated or other liquids.

• If the espresso maker is overfilled, boiling water maybe ejected.
• Clean the tube, upper vessel, upper filter and inter-vessel seal

regularly to prevent blockages.
