PREPARING STEAM :

- Put the machine under “steam” mode, pressing the “steam” key. The (

) icon is displayed.

- Place the container under the steam nozzle.
- Turn on  “steam” knob, (counter-clockwise from “0” to “steam position”).
- Immediately, the steam flows out from the nozzle.
- Turn off  “steam” knob, (clockwise from “steam position” to “0”) to stop the steam flow.
- Put the machine under “coffee” mode.

“ ENERGY SAVING” FUNCTION :

When the machine is used infrequently, it can enter the standby status. This function allows you to
save on energy costs.

The machine is under “power saving” mode while the LCD shows as the picture but the
rear light is off. You may press anyone of the keys for exiting this mode. In preheating time,

the rear light is on and the “wait” icon (

) will be blinking and then the machine is ente-

red the “coffee” mode again.

The setting value for energy-saving is 1 hour. ( This value is not adjustable.)

DECALING :

De-calcification refers to removing the calcium deposits which form on the metal parts of the
machine over time.
When the machine is under coffee mode, you may press “decaling” key and hold it for 5 seconds

while  the liquid crystal (

) icon is blinking, which shows that you can make decaling.

For the first-round rinsing, you have to mix the decaling solution and water together as per 1:1
proportion and fill the tank with this mixed agent. Then you should place a container (not less than
1L) under the steam nozzle, turn on the “steam” knob, the rinsed water has be rushed out from the

nozzle intermittently.  The (

) icon is changed into glowing. The “

” icon is changed into

glowing when the decaling solution in tank has been used up while the (

) icon is disappeared.

For the second-round rinsing, you may refill full tank with fresh water while the liquid crystal “

icon disappears. You may wait for about 12 minutes then the (

) icon turns blinking.

Following this, turn on the “steam” knob while the liquid crystal (

) icon is changed into glowing.

Again, the rinsed water rushes out intermittently from the nozzle. You may turn off the “steam” knob
as the water in the tank has been used up, which shows the decaling has been ended up.

Now, the liquid crystal (

) icon is blinking again when the machine is in preheating with followed

that the machine is transferred into “coffee” mode.
