Meaning

SNOWFLAKE

Blinking:

 The unit is calling for cooling, but must wait five minutes before restarting the com-

pressor. This five-minute delay serves as an Anti-Short Cycle for the compressor’s  

protection. 

Constant:

 The unit is in cooling mode and the condensing unit is running.

DRIPPING SNOWFLAKE

The unit is undergoing an Anti-Frost Cycle. While the Anti-Frost Cycle is running, “dEF” will be 

displayed on the screen. See System Operation page for further details. 

FAN

The evaporator fan is running. 

ALARM

The alarm icon is shown when the unit encounters an issue that needs attention. Alarm codes 

are explained on the following page. All temperature-related alarms are blocked for the first 

10 hours after the unit is plugged in to allow the system to stabilize and acclimate to the new 

environment.
