Filter Replacement:
The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this
water filter are not necessarily in all users’ water.
Filter life depends on local water conditions and the volume of
water used. We recommend that you change your filter every 6
months. However, it can be replaced earlier if there is a drop in
water pressure.
To remove Chlorine Taste and Odor,
Use replacement filter: 2321008
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality
without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
Systems certified for Cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that
may contain filterable cysts. EPA Establishment #070595-CT-001.
Filter Cartridge Replacement Instructions:
NOTE: Before changing cartridge, turn off incoming water supply.
Place a bucket under filter to catch the small amount of water that
will run out after housing removal.
1. Shut
off
water.
2.
Relieve pressure in housing by pushing red vent button.
3.
Unscrew housing and remove old cartridge. Wash housing
thoroughly with mild soap and water.
4.
Insert new cartridge and re-install housing. Be sure cartridge
is seated in the housing before tightening onto head.
5.
Use filter wrench to fully seat the cartridge. Tighten to make a
water tight seal.
6.
Turn on water. If any leaks appear, tighten housing as
needed.
7.
Flush system for five (5) minutes.
Troubleshooting Guide
Water Leaks at Threaded Fittings:
Tighten slightly more until leak stops
Water leaks at Push-in Connections:
Push tubing in as far as it will go. If leaking continues, shut off
water at the original valve and remove water line by pushing in on
the connector collar while pulling the tubing away. (See Push-in
Fittings Section) Inspect tubing for cracks and scratches. If tubing
is cracked or scratched, simply cut that portion away and reinsert
tubing into fitting.
Make sure tubing is cut straight. If not, recut.

WARRANTY
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
For one year from the date of purchase if the
UNDER SINK MAIN FAUCET FILTRATION
SYSTEM
fails when operated and maintained according to instructions attached to or
furnished with the product, Whirlpool México S.A. de C.V. will repair or, at our option, replace
your
UNDER SINK MAIN FAUCET FILTRATION SYSTEM.
Your replacement unit is
covered by our one year limited warranty. This warranty does not cover the filter included in
your system. Use of a non-Whirlpool México S.A. de C.V. specified filter will invalidate this
warranty. Keep this book and your sales receipt together for future reference. You must
provide proof of purchase or installation date for in-warranty service.
Whirlpool México S.A. de C.V. will not pay for:
1.
Service calls to instruct you on how to use your
UNDER SINK MAIN FAUCET
FILTRATION SYSTEM
or to replace owner accessible water filters.
2.
Replacement when your
UNDER SINK MAIN FAUCET FILTRATION SYSTEM
is used in
other than normal, single-family household use.
3.
Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, fire, floods, acts of God,
improper installation, installation not in accordance with local plumbing codes, or use of
products not approved by Whirlpool México S.A. de C.V.
4.
Replacement parts, repair labor costs and/or replacement of a “failed”
UNDER SINK MAIN
FAUCET FILTRATION SYSTEM
for units operated outside México
5.
Repairs to parts or systems resulting from unauthorized modifications made to the
appliance.
6.
Shipping or freight charges to return products for warranty service to Whirlpool México S.A.
de C.V.
7.
Damage resulting from improper packing of products returned for warranty service.
8.
Damages created by insects and/or animals such as rats, cockroaches, etc.
If you reside in México and your UNDER SINK MAIN FAUCET FILTRATION SYSTEM
should fail within the first year of ownership:

consumer can validate their product warranty, which is consistent with other Whirlpool
Service locations throughout Mexico.

Give the consultant your complete model and serial numbers.
3.
The consultant will identify the designated service center nearest your location.
4.
You will be responsible for insurance and freight or other transportation to our service
center. Please include your name and address on a piece of paper along with a copy of the
proof of purchase (register receipt, credit card charge slip, etc.). The

should be properly packaged to avoid damage in transit
since we will not responsible for any such damage.
5.
Whirlpool México S.A. de C.V. will return the repaired unit, or at our option, an identical or
comparable

to your door free of
charge.
WHIRLPOOL MEXICO S.A. DE C.V. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to
state or province to province.
This warranty applies just in Mexico. Contact your authorized Whirlpool dealer to
determine if another warranty applies.
