Power Draw of XTracker Solar
The XTracker Solar uses power when performing certain functions. These figures can be used to determine the power draw when installed and
connected to a vehicle battery using the Trickle Charger.
1.
Active mode (connecting to network, acquiring GPS, sending reports) = 30 mA - 60 mA
2.
Deep Sleep Mode = 7 uA
3.
Charging (until battery reaches 4.2 volts) = 485 mA
4.
Trickle charging (after battery reaches 4.2 volts) = 25 mA
Troubleshooting
After the XTracker Solar is turned on, the Blue LED (Cellular) is continuously flashing.
The signal is too weak or the
device isn’t registered to the network. Move the device to a place with good
cellular network coverage. If the
problem persists, refer to the

section above or call WhereSafe Support.
The XTracker Solar is not getting a GPS signal.
The GPS signal is weak. Move the device to a place under open sky. GPS signals are not guaranteed while indoors (parking garage,
underground, etc). If the problem persists, refer to the
