The local audio path operates a little differently than the other commands. The “Push To
Talk” closure must be maintained for the duration of the command, however, the activation
will automatically turn off if held active for more than 8 minutes.
The input cables may be up to 4,000 feet away, based on at least 26 AWG cable. Any audio
cable bust be shielded, twisted-pair and grounded at the audio source.
