Installation:
The lighthead will mount using two mounting brackets. One
bracket mounts to the fork using existing hardware and the
other bracket mounts under the signal light mounting
bracket.
1.
Remove the two acorn nuts and washers indicated in figure
3 and secure the support bracket to the motorcycle fork
using this hardware.
2.
Following factory guidelines, remove the hardware that
secures the signal lamp assembly (Fig. 1).
3.
Secure the lighthead mounting bracket under the signal
lamp mounting bracket (Fig. 3) and reassemble the signal
lamp assembly tightening all mounting hardware.
4.
Mount the lighthead to the mounting bracket using the
supplied 10 - 32 X 3/4 Phillips Pan Head Machine Screws.
#10 Flat Washers and 10 - 32 Elastic Stop Nuts.
5.
Extend the lighthead wires to the power source. For
connection and operation of the light head refer to the light
head manual. Dress all wires after connections are made.
IMPORTANT! It is the responsibility of the installation
technician to make sure that the installation and operation
of this product will not interfere with or compromise the
operation or efficiency of any vehicle equipment! Before
returning the vehicle to active service, visually confirm the
proper operation of this product, as well as all vehicle
components/equipment.
