14.1.3 Normal Operation
The Green beacon is
ON
steady when the machine is in
‘CYCLE’
mode, running or paused on
‘REMOTE DEMAND’
. The Green beacon goes out when the Red beacon is activated, except if
the machine is restarted with an almost empty tape roll. A machine management shutdown will
allow the machine cycle to be completed; all machine mechanisms will then stop at their
HOME
positions. A steady
ON
beacon signal takes precedence over a flashing signal. When a machine
shutdown condition is corrected, all other potential shutdown conditions should be checked and
corrected before restarting the machine.

NOTE: Multiple conditions can occur simultaneously, but not
all can be represented at once. When rectifying a fault
condition, check that no other conditions exist that may cause
a machine shutdown before restarting.
