Operation
Structural alterations may not be made to the scale. This can
lead to incorrect weighing results, faults concerning safety regula-
tions as well as to destruction of the scale.
The scale may only be used in compliance with the described
guidelines.
Installing/Replacing the Batteries
1. The battery compartment (1) is located at the rear of the device.
Depress the latch of the battery compartment cover and remove
the cover.
2. Insert three new batteries of the type LR03 (AAA) into the battery
compartment. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the batteries.
The polarity is printed inside the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment with the cover.
If the display shows
LO
or not comprehensible measurement
results are obtained, change the batteries as soon as possible.
Powering On
Press the POWER key (6) to switch on the LCD hanging scale.
An acoustic signal sounds and a short self-test takes place.
When the unit is ready to weigh, the last used operation mode
and the last used measuring unit appears on the display
(e.g.
0.00
kg
).
Setting up Weighing Unit/Displaying Temperature
Use the MODE selection key (4) to select the measuring unit
(Kilogram, Pound, Stone), respectively to display the current
ambient temperature (in the unit °Celsius or °Fahrenheit). Switch-
ing the modes takes approx. one second.
The sequence of the operation modes when pressing the MODE
selection key is as follows:
