Safety Notes
The unit is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children.
Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, humidity, dirt, high tempera-
ture, strong light or strong magnetic fields.
Do not expose the unit to excessive temperatures or strong vibrations
and avoid strong mechanical stresses.
When retracting the measuring tape, make sure not to injure yourself.
The measuring tape is retracting very quickly. Hold the measuring tape
by the hook and allow retracting slowly.
If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, remove the batteries.
Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not attempt
to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Use only batteries of the same type.
Do not use the unit if the housing has become damaged. Dot not press
on the display.
Keep the unit away from water or any other liquid.
Do not disassemble the unit and do not attempt to repair it yourself.
