12. Press the START/STOP button to return to
Standby Mode. Unplug the blender from the wall
socket immediately after use. To remove the jug
from the base, grasp the handle and lift up. Do
not twist the jug.
Turn the lid anti-clockwise to unlock and remove.
WARNING:
The lid emits hot steam after cooking. Let the jug sit for a few
minutes. Carefully remove the lid or the feed cap to prevent scalding. Wear non-
slip heat resistant gloves if required.
13. Pour out the contents of the jug and season to
taste.
14. Clean the blender after use (see CLEANING AND CARE).
BLENDING WITHOUT A PRESET PROGRAM
1. Follow Steps 1 – 8 in BLENDING WITH A PRESET PROGRAM.
2. Press the START/STOP button.
3. Press the TIME +/-button to set the blending time.
4. Press the SPEED +/- button to set the blending speed.
5. Press the START/STOP button to start blending.
6. Once finished, the blender will beep and stop.
7. Press the START/STOP button to return to Standby Mode.
PULSE FUNCTION
Use the Pulse Function to blend foods that only require short bursts of power (e.g.
nuts or drinks containing frozen fruits).
1. Follow Steps 1 – 7 in BLENDING WITH A PRESET PROGRAM.
2. Plug in the blender and press the START/STOP button.
3. Press and hold the PULSE/WASHING button to pulse. Release to stop blending.
Pulse intermittently.
4. Press the START/STOP button to return to Standby Mode.
To avoid overheating, do not blend continuously for more than 6 minutes at a time.
Let the motor rest for 6 minutes before continuing.
RE-HEAT OR KEEP WARM FUNCTION
Prepare soups and hot drinks in advance, and then use this function to re-heat or
keep them warm:
1. Press the HEAT/WARM button to re-heat or keep warm.
2. Press the HEAT/WARM button again to toggle the temperature options (60°C,
70°C, 80°C, 90°C, 100°C).
3. Press the START/STOP button to return to Standby Mode.
OVERHEAT SHUT-OFF PROTECTION
•
The blender has a built-in overheat protection mechanism. When the blender
reaches a certain temperature or after 6 minutes of continuous blending, it will
automatically stop and lock itself to prevent overheating.
