Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or any sharp instruments for cleaning 
the unit. When the unit is cool to touch, the outside surface may be wiped clean 
with a soft, damp cloth or sponge and then dried thoroughly If necessary, a mild 
dishwashing  detergent  may  be  applied  to  the  cloth  or  sponge  but  not  directly 
applied to the electric hotplate.

Immediately  unplug  the  electric hotplate  from  mains  power  if  malfunction 
occurs.

31.  After use, wait for the electric hotplate to cool down before moving or storing.
