Dressing the Grinding Wheels
After extended use, the performance of the
grinding wheels may deteriorate or the grinding
surfaces may become untrue. With a
conditioner you can dress the grinding wheels.
1. Turn on the grinder and hold the
conditioner against the grinding wheel.
2. Check in short intervals whether the
surface is satisfactory or the process must
be continued. Follow the instructions of the
manufacturer of the conditioner.
Maintenance, Cleaning and Care
ƒ To avoid injury, always pull the power plug before undertaking any work
on the machine.
ƒ Do not disassemble the unit and do not try to repair it yourself. In the case
of questions or problems please turn to our customer support department.
ƒ Before each use, check all parts of the double grinder.
ƒ Check the protective equipment, the switch, and the power cord. Check for
loose screws, poor alignment, loose connections, broken parts and all
other factors, which might interfere with safe operation.
ƒ Turn the unit off immediately if an unusual sound is noticed or unusual
vibrations occur. If the unit shows any kind of damage, do not continue
using it but have it repaired by a professional or turn to our customer
support department.
ƒ Keep the unit clean, dry and free from grease and oil.
ƒ Use only mild detergent and a moist cloth to clean your tool.
ƒ Never use highly inflammable or combustible solvents around the unit.
