3. Tune into a radio station by turning the tuning control (9).
4. Adjust the volume with the VOLUME control (2).
Please note:
When tuned into FM Stereo broadcast in weak signal areas, set band switch to FM to avoid
excessive background noise.
CD Player
Insert a CD
1. Set the function switch (11) to CD.
2. Open the CD door (14) by pressing OPEN/CLOSE (17).
3. Insert a CD with the label side facing upward.
4. Close the CD door. The display (8) will show the total number of tracks.
Notes:
Please wait until the unit completely reads the disk and the display shows the total number of tracks before
proceeding to the next step.
If there is no CD in the compartment or if the CD is upside down, the display will show „- -„.
Playing a CD
1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (15) to start CD playback. Playback starts at track 1. “ “ appears
on the display (8).
2. To interrupt playback press (15) again. “ “ starts flashing on the display (8).
3. To resume play press (15) once more.
4. Stop playback with the STOP button (16).
Skip/Search Tracks
• Press the skip/search forward /backward buttons (13, 18) until the desired track number is on
display (8).
