Operating
Before first Use
Clean all parts of the appliance before using the first time as described
below in chapter
“Cleaning and Storing.
Setting up the Appliance
Make sure the appliance is unplugged from power
mains while mounting or dismounting it.
1. Run the power cable through the opening in the
housing to make sure the food slicer stands flat on
the surface. Place the food slicer on an even and
level surface.
2. Attach the hand protection (6) on the feed slide (7).
Depress both components together until they will
firmly click into each other.
3. Place the feed slide slightly sloped
on the work surface (12), as shown
on the right picture.
Under the feed slide (7) you will
find a small dent. This dent fits into
the notch on the work surface (12).
Place the feed slide slightly sloped
on the work surface and slide it
slowly forth and back until the dent
fits into the notch. Afterwards the
feed slide will lay flat on the work
surface.
4. Place the food retainer with hand
protection (5) on the hand protec-
tion (6).
5. Connect the appliance with a power socket.
The food slicer is now ready for use.
