Using
Inserting a Glue Stick
Insert one glue stick into the rear end of the glue gun and push it
in as far as you can. Press the trigger to make sure that the stick
is solidly pressed against the heater unit.
Operation
1. Connect the unit to a power outlet and press the red ON/OFF
button. With the UP and DOWN buttons the temperature can
be regulated as desired. If you require a rather liquid mel,
choose a higher temperature, for a thicker melt choose a
lower temperature. The glue gun immediately starts heating
up. Wait some minutes.
2. Set the glue gun on its wire support and wait until some glue
is molten and appears in the nozzle. When the trigger is
pressed molten glue is forced out of the nozzle.
3. Put some molten glue onto the dry, clean surface you want to
use and immediately press the work piece you want to glue
down into the molten glue. The glue solidifies almost
immediately and forms an instant bond. Press the glued parts
together for several seconds.
4. When the stick cannot be pushed any further by the trigger,
put in a new stick. The old stick remains in the gun until it has
been completely melted when using the unit next time.
Cleaning and Storing
Before working on the tool, disconnect the plug from the
power.
Clean the device only with a lightly dampened cloth. Never
immerse it into water or sprinkle it with water.
