Operation
Selecting the Table Insert
Always make sure that the spindle sander is switched off and disconnected
from the power mains before making any adjustments.
Always use the correct table
insert (10) with its matching
sanding sleeve (6). Failure to
do so could result in pinched
fingers.
Furthermore, the workpiece
could
be
pulled
down
between the table insert and
the sanding sleeve.
Please note the table below to select the compatible tools for the right job
(table insert, sanding sleeve, rubber drum and washer).
Use the large washer with the 76 mm (3"), 50 mm (2"), and the 38 mm (11/2")
rubber drums. Use the medium washer with the 25.4 mm (1") and 19 mm
(3/4") rubber drums and use the small washer with the 13 mm sanding sleeve.
Make sure the sanding sleeve fit snugly into the central cut-out of the table
insert (10).
Please note that for the 13 mm sanding sleeve there is no matching rubber
drum included.
